Gentle, Sweet, Love Sponge

A garin is said to be heightened grace and dignity that benefits from intensive yoga practice. We are sure that our Garin is a Yogi Master, because this sweet and gentle boy is full of grace and decorum. He is looking for a home where he can live his tranquil and Zen-like life!

He's still settling into his foster home, but accepts pets and has crawled into his foster mom's lap and made happy biscuits while humming his soft purr! He is a big fan of face rubs and full body pets. He is an absolute sweetheart love sponge who wants to soak up all the pets!

Garin was adopted as a kitten and recently returned to APA!; he was nervous in his previous home, and the other resident cat chased him. His human made the tough choice to give Garin the opportunity to find a home that better suits this tender boy.

In his new home he will need some private places to tuck himself into while he gets used to everything, and he will emerge for pets a little more each day. He doesn't seem shy around people, it seems like he just needs some time to get used to a new environment before walking around with complete confidence. We totally see him being a lap cat!

And we can see him being playful, too! You absolutely have his attention when you move a toy around.

Garin has been diagnosed with a heart murmur; he doesn't exhibit any symptoms at this point and doesn't need any special care. Living in a quiet home with kind, loving people seems to be the best "medicine" for him!

Garin would thrive in a peaceful home with people who shower him with affection! He would likely do best with adults and young adults. He is fine being petted all over and picked up, but he will gently try to get down when he's ready to have all four feet on the floor again. He needs some hiding places for a while, though he is good at finding his own, too - he quickly figured out how to open the closet door in his foster home!

Garin is a handsome brown tabby with clear green eyes and a brown dot on either side of his face that masquerades as whisker spots!

He is looking for a home where he can practice and share his equanimity and inner peace! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with Garin!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
