If you're looking for a cuddly, lap-loving companion, sweet Melvan is your man! This affectionate kitty will follow you around as you go about your day and gently rub against you to request pets and cuddles. If a lap is available, you're highly likely to find him in it!

Melvan has the cutest way of falling asleep in your lap if you're sitting and curling up on your chest for a snooze if you're laying down. He is a tried and true snuggle machine! He is fine with being picked up and cuddled in your arms. As long as he's close to you, he's a happy kitty!

Melvan loves to talk! He carries on conversations with chatty meows, but we think he may be a dog living in a cat's body. He will sit at your feet like an obedient pup and if there's food around he will try to snatch it. None of that prissy, finicky stuff with Melvan. Even trash cans aren't off limits; if there's food within walking or climbing distance, Melvan wants to check it out!

Melvan is such a patient, loving cat that we think he would do well with kiddos. Little laps are every bit as cozy as bigger ones. Melvan's playful kitten years are behind him - he's all about leisurely sharing his love with people and isn't he the handsomest boy? His tattered ears and plush orange and white coat are absolutely endearing and his sweet eyes seem to have a smile of their own.
