Sweet, Curious, Playful

Grindylow is a curious cat who always wants to be at your side. He absolutely loves his people and being included in whatever his people are doing. Sometimes that means he'll share lots of trills and meows to be part of the conversation, and sometimes it means he'll be weaving between your feet as you walk so he never misses a beat!

Grindylow loves to explore, race around the house, and chase his laser pointer. When not playing, he's happy to just hang out with his people and get lots of petting.

We're not sure if Grindylow likes other cats, dogs, or kids. He's loved being in a low-energy home with his foster, but he'd be happy with anyone who could give him love and attention (and doesn't mind when he gets underfoot!).

Grindylow has stomatitis which is an inflammation of the mouth. It is typically resolved through removal of teeth and supportive care. He currently requires some extra medical care which may include medications and specialized diet. For more information, please contact APA!

Grindylow has also tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Grindylow can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
