Curious, Calm, Snuggle King

Atlas is a gorgeous medium-haired kitty with a white coat! His foster thinks he's at least part Turkish Angora. He's also got the prettiest eye-one blue, and one green!

He's a total lovebug, too! Unless he's eating or sleeping, Atlas wants to be with you. If you sit down, he's on your lap! If there's something already there (like your laptop), no worries; he'll make room. He's a talkative dude and purrs so much. He enjoys talking to his people when they're hanging out together, and will give a loud meow for attention when he needs something.

When it's time to play, Atlas can usually be found on mid-height perches around the house, and enjoys kicker toys on his own time, and wand toys if you'll drag it on the ground or under a blanket. His favorite cat TV 'channel' is mice or bunnies; he's not impressed by birds! Atlas seems to be very interested in the outdoors, and would likely love a catio space or other supervised adventure time.

Atlas is definitely food motivated, and he has a funny (messy) way of eating that's too cute. He seems to think that some types of litter are food, so to keep him from eating litter, he needs a pellet-style litter!

Atlas can often be found sporting a cute shirt or sweater; he has kitty allergies, and the clothing helps keep him from scratching himself while he's itching. APA is working on treating his allergies-for more information, get in touch!

Atlas has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Atlas can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
