If a fly gets into your house, it will be a sad day for the fly and a happy day for Arp! Because Arp - nicknamed Alice - is a master fly chaser! She has so much fun running after a fly and hunting it as it buzzes around, and sometimes she succeeds at catching it. Which, she decided, isn't as fun as the chasing and the hunting! Because Arp is all about being energetic and playing, she will likely play with every toy she meets! She has a grand time jumping for the wand toy, and loves to chase, wrestle with, and roughhouse with her siblings.

Arp and her siblings were found living under some buildings, so they were rescued and have spent the last few months getting socialized and used to people; they have made excellent progress, are well-mannered, and will use approved scratching devices if you provide them! Arp and her sister, Alma (105567), were the last two to be rescued, so they need more time to get used to people. Arp is careful around humans at this point, but likes to hang out in the room with you; she loves to watch TV! She doesn't care to be picked up and cuddled, but we are confident that with time, kindness, and patience, she will learn to love that, too. In the meantime, she promises to keep you entertained with her antics!

Arp loves the resident adult cat in her foster home and kind of thinks of him as her Papa Cat, and plays and cuddles with him all the time. Arp would love to be adopted with one of her siblings - ask us about her siblings! She isn't the kind of kitty who likes to be alone, so she would be best with a sibling, a kitten friend, and/or a nice older cat in her new home. That will help her feel safe and comfortable!

Arp would do well in a quiet home with adults/older kids, and another kitty to be her buddy. She is so sweet and spirited, she just needs some time to get used to everyone and everything!

Arp is the only black kitten in her family, and she is a beautiful standout! She has some secret white hairs speckled on her chest, which are adorable. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
