Sweet, Easygoing, Cuddly

It's no surprise where Lightly Toasted Marshmallow gets his name - this handsome guy is mostly white with little toasty bits on his ears and nose, resembling a tasty campfire treat! Lightly Toasted Marshmallow and humans go together like marshmallows, chocolate, and graham crackers. He loves people, and people love him!

Lightly Toasted Marshmallow usually sleeps most of the day, but when he wants attention, he will come out of his napping spot looking for pets and attention. If you're sitting down, he will come over and stand on his back legs to get a better view of what you're doing and hopefully get some head or chin scritches from you. At night, Lightly Toasted Marshmallow loves to snuggle up with you in bed (and maybe steal your pillow as his own sleeping spot). Given the chance, he will sleep right next to your head! He's also a big fan of getting brushed, which is a good thing since he's got a lot of fur that needs brushing!

Lightly Toasted Marshmallow is mostly very easygoing, but he will play with ball toys and loves a good scratching post. He can also be an intense digger in the litter box, so a larger box would be best for him. Lightly Toasted Marshmallow hasn't met any other cats, dogs, or kids, but we know that he would prefer a calm home and any other animals would have to be just as laid back as him. He would do great in an apartment since he's content just having a few nice spots to hang out. Anyone would be lucky to have all this marshmallowy goodness as their new kitty best friend!

Lightly Toasted Marshmallow has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Lightly Toasted Marshmallow can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Lightly Toasted Marshmallow's care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
