Meet Pawnesty! She was rescued from the outdoors and can be a bit skittish at first, but she's a total sweetheart once she settles in! Pawnesty is affectionate, easygoing, and ready to find her forever home!

Pawnesty loves a good cuddle, but she is also happy to entertain herself. She likes all kinds of toys, but she goes crazy for catnip mouse toys and anything that rattles! She may try to eat strings, so some wand toys might not be ideal for her - but she will love any other toys you get her! Once she tires herself out, Pawnesty will hop up on the windowsill to sunbathe or she'll head over to you for some snuggles. Give her some head scritches and she'll purr like an engine!

Pawnesty gets along with other cats; it took a few days for her and the resident cat in her foster home to become friends, and now they sleep and snuggle together! She has not yet interacted with children, but we think she would do fine with gentle kids as long who respect her.

She would love to be in a home where she could have some company during the day, whether that's another feline friend or a person who works from home. If you'd like to meet this cutie, contact us soon!

Pawnesty has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Pawnesty can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
