Affectionate, Loving, Observant
Cold Cuts is ready to fulfill her destiny - to be the center of attention in a loving home! This important role will include generously doling out purrs, offering gentle head rubs and soaking up the love that all family members will no doubt want to give her.
Cold Cuts' foster family has affectionately nicknamed her CeeCee and she happily responds to her new name! She was reserved at the shelter, but she has really blossomed in her foster home where she feels safe and is able to be her sweet self without hesitation. She likes being near her people and will jump onto the bed and snuggle up close or climb into your lap. She is a sweetheart!
Cold Cuts is a beauty with rich brown tabby coloring, a golden underbelly, gorgeous black stripes and a double strand of black "pearls" around her neck - always dressed for success...and for pets! If her cute little face ever looks grumpy, it's only because she's not getting enough loving. Don't be surprised if she stretches up as tall as she can and reminds you with a gentle tap that you really need to give her some pets!
Cold Cuts is a big, strong and athletic girl who can climb the cat tower like a panther to get to the window sill where she'll sleep or watch squirrels. Put treats on the sill and she'll zoom up the tower to get them!
This is a cat who knows what she wants: window seats, wand toys, and people who love her so she can love them in return. She's content to occupy herself but is thrilled to be around humans, especially when there's a lap available. Listen for her sweet little meows when she runs to greet you!
Cold Cuts wants to be your one and only kitty! The cat in her previous home stressed her out and she is so relaxed and content now that she is the sole feline. Dogs and children aren't really her speed either - an independent lady like her prefers to be the main attraction! If you're looking for a solo kitty superstar, Cold Cuts is looking for you.
Cold Cuts has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter lifespan. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. FeLV cats can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine. However, in Cold Cuts' case, she needs to be your one and only because that is how she likes it! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about Cold Cuts' care.
All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
