Sweet, Friendly, Playful

Rosie F isn't your typical black cat, take a closer look and you'll see just how pretty and ombre-like her fur is! She could fool anyone into thinking she gets her fur done at one of Austin's top salons!

In addition to being gorgeous, Rosie is also super sweet and loves people. Belly rubs are her weakness and she has no problem asking for attention. She usually comes up to her foster chirp-meowing or rubbing up against her legs and rolling over so you can rub her belly! Rosie isn't much of a lap cat though - petting and belly rubs are her love language!

Since she loves being petted so much, sometimes Rosie can get overstimulated and will give little love bites, which could be alarming to small kids. She also has a tendency to scratch accidentally, so her foster tries to keep her nails trimmed.

Rosie is very playful and loves to play with wand toys, ball towers, and mice toys. She loves chasing the wand toy and jumping in the air to catch it or playing fetch with her favorite catnip toys! She's very good about keeping her scratching to the cat tree and scratching posts. When she's not playing or asking you for pets, Rosie is pretty chill. She naps a lot and really enjoys sleeping on the windowsill.

In foster, Rosie is fearless around the large resident puppy whom she's only swatted at a couple of times, but mostly just ignores. She spent time with another cat while she was with a sitter, and the two were a little spicy with each other, so she will just need slow introductions with other cats.

The perfect home for Rosie is one with people who will play with her and give her lots of toys and attention! She would do well with a cat-friendly dog and even another friendly cat. Ask about meeting this beautiful friendly girl!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
