Sweet, Purry, Affectionate

We hope that Baisel will accept our sincere apologies for thinking she was an undersocialized cat! Turns out, being in a single kennel by herself in the shelter was not her favorite thing, and it was stressing her out. Now that she is in a "group room" where she can roam around and interact with her feline roommates, her personality is shining through and she is really opening up!

Baisel loves hard treats and will eat them from your hand. First, she likes to be approached slowly and gently until she trusts you, and then she will let you pet her, while showing off her motorboat purr! She will ask for and lean in to pets, show you her tummy, and vigorously purr some more.

Baisel has a tabby tuxedo coat, complete with white bib and the most perfect little white feet! She has a cute pink nose, clear golden-green eyes, and a whimsical way of looking at you.

Baisel is incredibly sweet and silly! She is just careful at first, and needs some time to get used to you before she comes blooming out of her shell. She has a lot of personality to share!

Baisel has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Baisel can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
