Adventurous, Cuddly, Adaptable

Julian Lennon - Lenny for short - is super into his humans. He bonds easily and becomes invested quickly! The moment he is allowed, this sweet boy will be trying to snuggle into his human's lap and the purrs will start immediately. His affection level is definitely high!

It did not take long for Lenny to adjust to his foster environment. He has eagerly made himself at home, and has not looked back. He seeks his foster out for attention, and prefers pets and cuddles to practically anything else. He will occasionally play with a wand toy if tempted, but would much rather nap in a cozy spot over playing!

A tower near a window would be the purr-fect thing for Lenny! It lets him be both curious and snuggly! He can watch the world go by until the sun hits it in just the right way, and then he can nap in a nice warm spot until his human comes back to give him some love and affection.

At first, Lenny gave off the impression that he was not going to be a fan of dogs, but with a slow and proper introduction, he has made a cuddle-buddy out of his foster's canine! The two have become fast friends after being given the time to adjust and feel each other out, and it has been worth the patience to see them interact! With a bit of time and space to adjust, Lenny could adapt to most anything! He would be great in a home with other animals to interact and cuddle with. He has not had the chance to meet any children, but has the potential to get along well with kids or adults who are on the same page of pets and cuddles over all else!

Lenny is a quick learner. He picks up on his foster's likes and dislikes, and has caught on to when he is being called out for being a bit of trouble maker! He would definitely do well with some scratching posts or cardboard cutouts in his fur-ever home, and may need the occasional reminder to only use those tools for his claws! When he forgets he has better options, he has gone for the couch or other cloth materials, but one firm no and he moves on and doesn't look back!

A home with a human around often for cuddles is just what Lenny needs! He likes to check up on his family to make sure they are okay - and even goes so far as to wait outside the door while his foster showers to make sure the water didn't hurt him! He is just so full of love and curiosity. Contact APA! today to see if you can add Lenny to your family, and watch him make himself right at home!

Julian Lennon has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Julian Lennon can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
