Loving, Goofy, Cuddly

Is cuddling your jam? Then meet Jelly Jam! He is a big fan of cuddles. He adores sitting in your lap for pets, scritches, and being brushed. At bedtime, he's all about the snuggling; however, Jelly Jam does request that he get to be the "little spoon" during nighttime snuggles. That, or he is happy to sit right on top of you! You probably have met cuddly cats in the past, but we think Jelly Jam takes First Prize for being The Most Cuddly Cat!

Any toy with a string - or anything with a string, really - will get Jelly Jam's attention! He will chase that string around and around and around and around.

He also loves wrestling with the resident cat in his foster home, and would love a wrestling partner in his new home! Even though he doesn't completely get why someone wouldn't *want* to wrestle all day long - it's so much fun! - he is respectful of the wishes of other cats, too. He also gets along fine with the small dog in his foster home.

Jelly Jam was born with an enlarged colon and needs to be on a wet food only diet. He takes meds mixed with his food to help with constipation. He knows how to use the litter box, but the meds can cause him to "leak" between visits; strategically placed towels can help with that. He might need a little more clean-up than a "typical" cat, but otherwise he's your basic typical cat, with a super-size helping of sweet, friendly, and snuggly!

In a previous home, Jelly Jam was trained to walk on a leash, so that's something you and he might really enjoy! And while he loves cat scratchers, chasing string, wrestling, and playing with other cats, he has a calm personality and mainly just wants to hang out - near you, if possible! He is a light orange tabby Manx, most recognizable by his little stumpy tail, with a splash of white on his chest and toes. He's so cute all over!

Jelly Jam is friendly the moment you meet him, and then becomes even more friendly when he gets to know you! He would fit right into a family with another nice and playful cat, a cat-friendly pup, and people who will spend time with him, playing and cuddling. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
