Relaxed, Sweet, Quiet

Do you know about the ginger cat stereotype of being very loving? Sweet Gingerman is already demonstrating his stereotypical ginger cat-ness! He slowly emerges from his shell from time to time (which is hard to do in the shelter), and really leans into gentle pets when he's feeling comfortable! You can tell he loves it because of his surprisingly loud, rumbly purr.

Gingerman is a calm and poised senior gentleman... but he also likes to cat-party! You can wake him from a dead sleep with a single freckled-nose-sniff of catnip. It's ON! He really does love to get silly.

Gingerman will thrive in a tranquil home with plenty of sunny spots to curl up and nap. He might even decide he's a lap kitty once he's all settled in!

Gingerman has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Gingerman can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
