Silly sink-napper, precious people-lover

Shreddie Furcury is settling in with his foster and already showing us what a people-oriented sweetheart he is! When his foster enters his room, he rubs up against her leg and is clearly ecstatic to see her! He calls out for her when he wants food or cuddles, but he's otherwise pretty quiet.

Shreddie has an adorable quirk of napping in the bathroom sink. When his foster gets out of the shower, he likes to get in it and walk around on the damp floor. Shreddie will occasionally play, but he prefers to explore and just hang out in a window watching the world go by.

Shreddie hasn't yet met his foster's dog but is clearly curious about him.

Shreddie Furcury has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

Shreddie would be a great companion for anyone who's looking for a chill but super-friendly kitty.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
