Spunky, curious, lovable

Smarty Pants is the perfect combination of affectionate and playful! She greets everyone with her signature move, an adorable head boop. From there you can admire her eye-catching tortoiseshell coat, right down to the delightful orange spot on her paw.

Once the greetings are complete, it's time to play! Smarty Pants loves to play with her humans, cardboard boxes, wand toys, and, when she's not using it for standard purposes, even her scratch posts. She'd love a home where she'll get lots of enrichment and play time.

She's an occasional snuggler with a big purr who might give you a reminder meow or two when it's breakfast time. A girl's gotta eat, especially one as active as Smarty Pants!

Smarty Pants had positive interactions with other cats in the cattery. While she hasn't been around children yet, she'd likely do well with a slow introduction.

Smarty Pants has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Smarty Pants can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
