Sweet, Elegant, Cozy

Maggie is a majestic and marvelous senior! She enjoys having her glorious tabby fluff brushed and if you dangle a string toy in front of her, you will see that this old gal still has spunk! When it's bedtime, Maggie loves snuggling up at the foot of your bed. What a sweet sight to see as you drift off to sleep each night!

Maggie's peaceful life was turned upside down recently when her human unexpectedly passed away at home. Her person was on the reclusive side, so Maggie was unaccustomed to visitors. She was so scared and found the best hiding places when anyone entered her home. So much so, it took days for her to be found and brought to safety. She was in dire need of medical care and only weighed 5 lbs. Against all odds this resilient kitty has recovered remarkably well! She is up to almost 6 1/2 lbs, eats, plays, loves pets (And doesn't hesitate to request them!) and purrs up a storm!

Maggie has had company through the good and bad times. She has spent most of her life with her best kitty friend in the world, Timmy (https://bit.ly/3TGp3Hz). It was easy to see how close these two are by the way they both perked up when they were brought back together after a brief separation. Timmy gave Maggie a luxurious bath when they were reunited and they both were visibly more relaxed right away. These two cats are soulmates and need to be adopted together.

Maggie has Chronic Renal Disease, which means her kidneys are not functioning as well as they once were. This condition is so common in older cats that APA! offers a special adoption package for them. Read more about renal failure and adoption details here: https://bit.ly/2YudG90

Maggie is such a lovely cat who deserves to spend the rest of her golden years in a cozy home where she is pampered and loved. She hasn't been around dogs or kiddos, and would be most comfortable in a quiet household that includes the other half of her heart, Timmy. If you're interested in giving these two sweet cats a soft place to land and a home filled with gentle affection, contact us to meet them!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
