Sweet, Low-key, Yearning for love

Ginny is a pure and honest little soul. She has always been a quiet girl, and in her previous home she loved gentle pets from her beloved humans, the occasional wand toy, and food and treats that taste like chicken! She knows how to enjoy the simple pleasures of life.

But Ginny lost her previous home and is trying to wrap her kitty brain and kitty heart around that, so she is unsettled and scared for now. It will take someone patient and kind to give her the loving space to help her realize that she is home and she is safe. Right now she likes to hang out in comfy and private hidey-holes, coming out at night to check things out on her own. Her foster mom has seen toys in different locations in the morning, so she knows Ginny has been indulging in some secret, nighttime play!

In her previous home, Ginny loved other chill cats and tolerated nice dogs. She is likely best suited for a home that is more quiet and low-traffic.

Ginny is a beauty - her tortoiseshell colors, patches, and marbling are regal! She would love someone who understands her personality and will give her the time, space, and love she needs to feel comfortable. We are confident that Ginny will reclaim herself as a happy, content, and confident-in-herself cat! If sweet Ginny sounds like she's a perfect fit for you, please contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

Ginny has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. She can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
