Playful, Quirky, Loves his people!

Owen Wilson is a funny guy! Being a cat, he obviously knows how gravity works, and thinks swatting a toy from the counter to the floor is loads of entertainment. (It would be great if you could pick it up, put it back on the counter, watch him swat it off again; and repeat!) He has lots of playful energy. He also will "hunt" by hiding under the bed and swatting at your feet as you walk by - he's a ninja kitty! He also likes scratching posts and other things he can get his scratch on with.

Owen easily bonds with his beloved human, and will follow you around the house, excited to see what you're up to next! He likes to talk to you with little squeaky noises. He snuggles but doesn't need to sit on you or be petted constantly, he is happy simply hanging out with you! When he rubs up against you, that's a good sign that he is ready for pets. Owen doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who likes to be left alone for long periods of time.

Owen came to APA! with an old fracture in one of his front legs, which caused nerve damage; it gives him a limp paw, but he still uses the leg, though sometimes he loses his balance. He's fine with the litter box, as well as with playing around in water as it runs out of the faucet. He will drink from the faucet and dunk his legs in the water to splash around!

Owen loves people! He previously met some kids and did well with them. He just needs everyone to be gentle with his balance due to his front leg. He doesn't like dogs, however, and will hide from the resident dog in his foster home.

He's a handsome brown-gray-black-taupe tabby with all the love showing on his face! He's silly, sweet, fun, and wants to be your companion. Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet with Owen Wilson!

Owen Wilson has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
