Easygoing, Friendly, Sweet

If you're searching for a snuggly, cuddly companion to pass the days with laying on your lap, look no further - Piecaken might just be the perfect fit!

Piecaken loves to greet humans with headbutts and enrapture them with her sweet little meows until they have no choice but to cuddle her. She could spend all day wrapped up in blankets watching her favorite shows with her human friends or gazing out the window. With a super calm and laid back temperament, the key to Piecaken's heart is lots and lots of rubs and pets. She will let you know when she feels lonely, hungry, thirsty, or needs a little extra love.

Sweet Piecaken is very comfortable and friendly around other cats and would love to land in a home with other FeLV+ cat siblings. Dogs are more foreign territory to her, however; she would be more suited to a home with smaller dogs that she can observe from high up and take a few days to become comfortable around. Piecaken has interacted with children of toddler age and was a little scared, but friendly and open to getting used to them!

Piecaken has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Piecaken can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
