Sweet, Affectionate, Rule-Maker

Are you looking for a sweet cat who likes to call the shots when it comes to affection? If so, Fuzziwig is the girl for you! This stunning calico has so much love to give with lots of spunk to go right along with it!

Fuzziwig enjoys her independence and, while she also absolutely loves getting pets and loved, she likes to set the rules. They're easy enough to follow and you'll often end up with a purring cat in your lap if you're willing to play along!

Fuzziwig is a shy around new people and will initially play hide and seek. She always does the hiding! But, she just loves getting pets and finds them pretty much irresistible. So, even when she is first getting to know you and tucks herself away, she will gladly accept pets from the comfort of her hidey hole.

Once she feels safe, she will come out of hiding and approach you for pets, she likes to make the first move! When you pet her she will lean into your hand for more, purring loudly the entire time. She will even push your hand to the floor to make the cheek scratches harder.

One of Fuzziwigs rules is that she doesn't want you to pick her up. Oh, and another one is that she doesn't want to be your constant cuddle companion. But, if you play it cool and let it be her decision, there's a high probability that she will climb into your lap and purr, purr, PURR as you pet her. Feel free to try telepathy to make this happen. You will not be breaking any rules and there is a decent success rate!

Fuzziwig coexists peacefully with the cats in her foster home. She is fine with the big dogs there too and makes sure to put them in their place if they get too close! She likes for you to keep her company while she eats. And, she often likes to go eat after getting pets because getting loved on makes her feel so happy and apparently hungry too. We should mention another rule before we forget, no loud noises please! They send her running for cover.

Fuzziwig had her teeth removed because her mouth was inflamed. She is healing well and although her foster offers her both dry and wet food, Fuzziwig prefers the dry food. That's Fuzziwig being Fuzziwig, making the rules...even when it comes to eating hard food with no teeth!

Fuzziwig's perfect forever home would be a quiet one with loving, patient people who will give her all the time she needs to warm up to them. She would do best in a household with animals that are chill like her and with adults only. Give her time and follow her lead and you will have yourself an affectionate, lovely friend for life!

If you think you're the perfect rule-following forever family for Fuzziwig, contact us to schedule an introduction!
