Snuggly, Affectionate, Cheerful

Deoxys will cuddle with you, rub her head on you, and give you kitty kisses! She so easily shares her love and affection that she also grooms the resident adult cat in her foster home. Look up "sweetheart" in the dictionary, and if there isn't a photo of Deoxys, there should be. She is 110% sweet and full of heart!

She will ask for snuggles by reaching up with a front paw and tapping you! Seriously, look at her angel face, how could you not drop what you are doing to cuddle with her?

Deoxys came to APA! with damage to her pelvic limbs that made her back legs weak, so she can't use them much. The Good Samaritan who rescued her saw her under the attack that injured her. He scooped her up and brought her to safety. Now, she's been through a trauma, but is still a happy girl. She has been doing physical therapy in her foster home, and has moved her back legs under her a couple of times all by herself! She's doing so well!

Deoxys is silly and playful. She plays with toys and chases anything that moves. She is such a happy girl and will charm you with her bubbly, cheerful, social personality. She is a gem!

The damage to her pelvic limbs gave Deoxys incontinence; she requires some extra care. She can't pee by herself, but with a squeeze of her bladder a few times a day, she's all good. You can 'express' a cat's bladder right over the toilet, and move on with your day. All of her caregivers have fallen in love with her easy and sweet-sweet-sweet (did we mention sweet?) nature. She hasn't let her physical condition diminish her spirit in any way, as you can tell.

Deoxys is gorgeous, with the silkiest coat of light orange stripes and white accents. And we can't stop looking at her honey-amber eyes; they seem to glow! She is as beautiful as she is sweet.

(In case you are wondering, "Deoxys" is an alien-like Pokemon. But other than sharing the name, our little Deoxys in no way resembles her namesake!)
