Truth be told, Stamp Collector isn't into the stamp scene. His favorite hobby is collecting cuddles! He will snuggle up next to you or sit in your lap for hours, only leaving when you ask him to go. And, he is always looking to expand his collection!
Like any true connoisseur, Stamp Collector is on the eccentric side. While your typical kitty might like getting pets before being picked up, Stamp Collector is the opposite. He isn't ready to show you his affectionate side until after you pick him up. Once he is held he loves getting pets and cuddling with you. Don't be deterred if he acts fearful when you first meet him. He just needs time to get settled, then you will see that he is a lover at heart!
While Stamp Collector has a calm demeanor, he does get scared fairly easily when something surprises him. Living a rugged life will do that to a fella. But, when he is kicking back in his cushy bed, you will definitely see his chill side. He loves to hang out there and would much rather lounge in bed than play.
Stamp Collector's purr is super loud, probably from years of practice. You can expect to hear it often! He doesn't meow much, but will speak up when he is hungry. He loves to eat and has a hearty appetite. He is somewhat of a foodie, enjoying not only cat food, but savoring the taste of human food as well!
Stamp Collector's big 'ol head on his tiny body makes him extra adorable! His gray and white coat may have gone through some wear and tear over the years. But, he is still beautiful and soft, and likes to be petted. His back legs are a little wobbly. Fortunately, that doesn't interfere with his ability to snuggle up and love you, which is what he enjoys doing most of all!
Being of a mature mindset, Stamp Collector does not like being around kids. They make him feel hissy and afraid. This weary old man just wants to peacefully hang out with adults. So a home with no children is best. He is also a bit of a curmudgeon when it comes to other animals and doesn't want to be around them. If he had a lawn, he would tell them to get off of it!
Stamp Collector is the perfect companion for someone looking for a cuddly, mellow friend. His ideal home would be a low-energy one with adults only and no other pets.
