Gorgeous, Kind-Hearted, Loving

Strawberry Meowgarita is as sweet as can be, just like the drink she is named after! She will always want to be by your side. The second you enter the door, Strawberry Meowgarita will be bounding over to greet you. She loves to roll around while being petted; it is silly but oh so cute! And, when you sit down after a long day to watch TV on the couch, Strawberry Meowgarita will be right by your side to keep you company.

When Strawberry Meowgarita is comfortable, boy does she show her wild side. This sweet girl loves jumping up and catching her string toy as it flies through the air. She also turns into quite the chatty Cathy when she is comfortable. Strawberry Meowgarita will meow at you in the morning before you open your door, whenever she wants food, or when she wants attention. She has adorable trilling meows that are sure to melt your heart!

Strawberry Meowgarita is on meds for leaking urine; she uses the litter box, but tends to leak when she is napping. There are ways to handle this (like putting pee-pads where she sleeps) and we can talk with you more about this.

Strawberry Meowgarita enjoys sitting near windows and looking out at the world. Strawberry Meowgarita is looking for a home full of love, with a bit of patience to let her warm up as she gets used to her new family and surroundings!

Strawberry Meowgarita has tested positive for Feline Leukemia, and is currently being treated for continence/urinary issues associated with her FeLV. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Strawberry Meowgarita can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
