Tranquil, Gentle, Head-Bumper

Ree lost his home of many years! He is a senior cat who has the manners of a perfect gentleman, and hopefully will find his new home very soon.

He is peaceful and quiet, and already knows it is not cool to scratch furniture or knock over items on a table. In the mornings he thinks it to be rude if he meowed loudly. So even though he is hungry, he keeps his meows quiet!

He will take long naps. While awake he'll stay close to the humans. Toys do not interest him. He would rather have you rub and scratch on him. He'll jump onto your lap, rub against you, and give you a head-bump to get your affection!

He is usually pretty calm. After so many years in a stable environment he isn't used to new people, so it is no surprise that he may be a little fearful and cautious when he first meets you. Good news is that it only took him a few days to get use to his foster human and settle into a routine!

It is unknown his experience with other cats, dogs or children. It will take him a while to get use to his new forever family. With his calm personality and with slow introductions to other critters and children, it seems he could adapt quite well.

Ree's ideal forever home is either with a single human or multi-family home who provides him a calm environment, attention and respect. For a tender companion you need to meet this guy!

All APA! cats are, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime fully vetted support offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
