Sweet, Silly, Purr-machine!

Halle with The Good Hair sure lives up to her namesake! She has the softest fur with adorable spots. Her cashmere coat begs to be scratched and she loves to do dramatic side flops to show you her magic belly and rub her face all over you. She's quite a funny feline!

Halle is very friendly and while she takes a minute to get used to new surroundings, she is quickly and easily swayed by toys and pets! She likes to chase and conquer moving toys or get some big kicks on with a kicker toy - she might be auditioning for the Rockettes! She loves affection but will politely wait until you are ready and once you are, she instantly urns into a major purr machine the second the scritches start and will flop on her back for some belly rubs!

Halle has stomatitis, which is an inflammation of the mouth. It is typically resolved through removal of teeth and supportive care, and she is scheduled for dental extractions soon, and that will make her feel so much better! She eats a wet food diet.

Halle will give you a quiet greeting when you come in the room or some loud meows if you're bringing her food! She would thrive in quieter home with a family willing to provide lots of pets ! She would be fine with other chill and calm animals in the house.

Halle with The Good Hair has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Halle with the Good Hair can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
