Meet the incomparable Shenanigan!

Shenanigan is well-named since he's quite the playful boy! He has zoomies often and enjoys roughhousing. His foster describes him as a Golden Retriever stuck in a cat's body who has never met a stranger in his life. We're big fans of puppy cats and Shenanigan sounds like quite the charming character!

He is also highly affectionate and an animated conversationalist. He is ALWAYS in the same room as you, often talking to you the whole time. He is super talkative and speaks three languages - when he is bored, when he wants food, and when he is playing. When he cuddles, he purrs hard right on your chest. He prefers to do this 4-5 times a day so be ready to give this purr monster all the love he needs!

While in foster care, he hasn't met other cats or children, but he has had positive experiences with dogs. Never showing any hints of aggression or hissing, he is very curious and just wants to play. In his ideal home, he would thrive with a playmate, either a dog, another FeLVie cat, or human children!

Shenanigan has tested positive for the Feline Leukemia Virus. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, "FeLVies are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Shenanigan can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

If this friendly, energetic chatterbox sounds like he would belong in your home, reach out today to meet Shenanigan!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
