Calm, gentle, sweet

Halo is the best work-from-home buddy you could ask for! This silky soft girl is content to spend the day just chilling out nearby doing her own thing - but it's instant purrs and soft headbutts the second you take a break to pet her. You'll only hear her meow when it's mealtime, and even then it's a tiny little squeak to match her petite frame! Although she may just steal your chair if you leave it unguarded!

Halo is a cautious kitty who reacts to stress by trying to be as tiny and invisible as possible, so she was overlooked in the shelter. Now that she's in a foster home, she's really come out of her shell!

She likes to bat around her little mouse toy and try to catch a wand toy, but mostly she likes to nap on a soft comfy spot. She loves treats (who doesn't?) and chin rubs. She's more of a lean-against cat than a lap-cat, but you'll still melt when she looks up at you to blink "I love you". She very well behaved - uses her scratch post, ignores house plants, and even prefers to make air-biscuits rather than needle you.

Halo is curious about the other cats in her foster home, but hasn't interacted yet. In the shelter, she was too stressed to hang out with her roommates, but she didn't start any drama either. We think she'd do just find as a solo kitty or with friends. She hasn't had experience with dogs or children, but given her cautious nature she will probably be happiest in a calmer home.

Can you give her a calm home where she can build a lifetime bond with you? Contact us today to meet Halo!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
