Calm, Headbutter, Dapper

With his handsome orange tabby looks and adorable white feet, Semicolon will definitely make you pause - living up to his name! He's a sweet and easygoing older guy who can't wait to get out of the shelter and just hang out with you.

When he first came to APA!, Semicolon was very stressed in the shelter environment, but he has already warmed up a lot to the staff and volunteers that visit him. He's still a little stressed, but his love for people overcomes his nervousness, so he's always excited for any attention you'll give him.

Semicolon loves being brushed and getting head scritches, and his head butts are very intense during these two activities. He doesn't meow much, and he isn't super energetic, but he will swat at a wand toy if you wave it around for him. Semicolon doesn't need a lot of attention, but he would be so happy just hanging out with his people in a calm environment where he can nap and be loved!

Semicolon has an enlarged colon and needs to be on a wet food only diet. Due to the stress he's experiencing in the shelter, he's currently taking stool softeners to help with constipation, but moving into a quieter home environment should improve his stress level and his "output."

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
