Independent, curious, sweet

Dot's Gloves is often seen lazing around the house, especially in her favorite spot, the foot of the bed. She does not like being alone at night, so it has become a habit for her to have access to free roam and sleep with her humans as she wishes.

On her first day in the foster home, she was very eager to explore and quickly adapted to her new space. The same night, she was already in a playful mood, showing low signs of stress. Her favorite comfort food is Temptation treats!

She is very easygoing and can be held with some squirming but is always ready to accept pets on her head and back. She is also very independent and at times, wants her own space and appreciates boundaries, like not petting her stomach. She's a beautiful brown, orange, and white tortie-calico-tabby; a little bit of everything gorgeous! She has the cutest orange strip on her head and BEAUTIFUL green eyes.

Around the evening, Dot's expresses most of her energy while playing with/hunting her wand toy. She is a very sweet, low-maintenance cat that requires occasional pets and an abundance of love. She would thrive in a calm, relaxing environment where she can get all the attention she desires. If that sounds like you, contact us soon!

Dot's Gloves has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Dot's Gloves can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
