Sweet, Affectionate, Friendly

Bilbro Baggins, or Billy as his foster has taken to calling him, is the sweetest cat, always ready for affection! All he wants is to be near you, he'll even greet you at the door. He loves to take a nap next to you or be in your lap while you're working. Although he's fine with being on his own, he'd rather be in the same room as you and is always down for pets.

Billy loves his wand toy - but only if you tease him with it pretty fast. If you wave your arms too slowly, Billy might crawl into them! Billy is a fairly chatty cat - he'll speak up when he's ready for food and wants you to pet him or play with him.

This handsome brown tabby would do best as the sole cat in his forever home; when he was in the shelter, he did not enjoy his feline roommates. Billy would love somebody who works from home or is able to spend a good amount of time with him.

Bilbro Baggins has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Bilbro Baggins can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
