Say hello to Marimo!

The last few months have been tough for Marimo as she's been shuffled between shelters and finally ended up in her foster's home, which is a new and scary place to her. She's affectionate and loves chin scritches, but she's understandably quite stressed after all these recent changes. It will take Marimo some time to decompress and adjust to her surroundings, but just wait until she opens up and shows you her true colors. What we can tell is that she may be timid at first but she is friendly to humans and cats, and needs help gaining confidence.

While with her foster, Marimo has made friendly overtures to the resident cats in the household but they have not yet been returned. Her foster believes Marimo would be a great companion for another kitty who wants a friend. Marimo is a diamond-in-the-rough - she really wants to trust people and come out of her shell, but it is going to take time and patience. She will do well with someone who is patient, does not push her, and is willing to just spend time with her to build her trust, giving her space, a safe hiding spot while she is getting settled, and, when allowed, lots of love.
