Perfect Family Cat!

Fern Gully's foster says that she's the perfect balance of every quality a family would look for in a cat! She's confident, friendly and social, even with people she's just met. She's absolutely amazing with kids. She is calm, patient, and gentle with special-needs kids, and even taught them how to pet her by placing her head in the child's hand and then moving it back and forth.

Even though she loves attention, she's not clingy or needy. She'll sit next to you but won't insist on sitting in your lap. She will occasionally meow to ask for pets but isn't a chatterbox. Her foster says the only thing that ever spooked her was the vacuum cleaner but hey, have you ever known a cat who liked the vacuum cleaner?? As soon as Fern Gully saw that the monster was gone, she was fine.

She doesn't play a lot right now, probably because she's busy caring for her six adorable kittens. Once they've gone off to their own forever homes, she may become more interested in playing.

Fern Gully is so friendly and adaptable that she could fit well with almost any family. We don't know how she is with dogs or other cats, but given her calm and confident personality, she might do well if given a proper introduction.
