Floofy, Involved, Pettable

With her flowing tabby fur, Stabby Tabby wouldn't look out of place parading around a wintry Norwegian forest! Don't let her name give you the wrong idea, this regal lady has her reserved moments but she loves pets and is a friendly kitty at heart.

Stabby Tabby has a curious nature and is comfortable around people, but prefers to start out in a familiar area or hiding spot. She'll emerge to say hello and check things out, but retreat when she's had enough.

She likes to think of herself as an extroverted introvert, and sometimes just needs a moment to recharge before she's feeling friendly again.

Show her a wand toy and she'll show you how good she is at swatting and chasing. Afterwards, she won't say no to a nice roll in some catnip and may even climb into your lap on short notice. Lucky you!

Stabby Tabby is looking for a home where she's the queen and the only subjects to boss around are her humans. (Or, she'd like to be your only cat).

Stabby Tabby has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Stabby Tabby can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
