Stunning, Social, Cuddly

Le Renard's gorgeous, thick mane makes her look like a regal lioness. But, the truth is, she is more of a teddy bear! She loves getting pets and cuddling with her humans. When you pet her, she makes little biscuits with her fluffy paws. If you're close enough, she will make them on your side to show her appreciation for your kindness and affection!

Le Renard hung around in her little safe space in the guest bathroom when she first came to her foster home. But, now every night she joins her foster parents on the couch to watch movies. She snuggles with them and has found a prime spot behind their heads where she loves to curl up on the back of the couch and snooze.

Le Renard thinks her foster dad's beard is a must-see (and touch!) attraction! She makes a beeline for it when he is on the couch and loves rubbing her head against it before settling down. If you or a family member has a beard, you can expect lots of loving from Le Renard!

Le Renard will let you pick her up and handle her while purring away. She adores curling up to sleep near you and getting super close to cuddle. She is happiest when someone is scratching her behind her ears and the top of her head. She may even give your legs a gentle pawing so you will give her extra cuddles!

While Le Renard loves being with her humans, she is also fine being by herself. She is a beauty with brown tabby markings and splashes of light tan throughout her majestic coat that show brilliantly in the sun. In her previous life she lived on the streets where she developed a penchant for human food. So, keep an eye on your plate because she may just make a dive for your dinner!

Le Renard is a quiet girl with a soft and low meow. When you pet her, you will hear the rumble of her happy purr the entire time!

Le Renard has interacted with all of the animals in her foster home and does fine with them. She isn't particularly playful and doesn't seek out their company. But, this agreeable gal doesn't mind sharing a home with them.

Le Renard is such a loving cat who will make a fantastic companion!. If you are ready to come home to purrs, biscuits, and love from the sweetest lioness around, Le Renard may be just the one for you!

Le Renard has hyperthyroidism, which is common in middle-aged and older cats. Hyperthyroidism increases a cat's metabolism, making them thirstier and hungrier; it can be easily controlled with meds. She needs to eat a healthy diet and have 24/7 access to water.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
