People-loving, Insta-purring, Cuddle bug!

Penny Loafer adores people and instantly becomes best friends with everyone she meets; she is friendly from the get-go, and then becomes even more friendly! She lets out the biggest purr when she's getting attention from her people - even if you're just talking to her! She loves to give headbutts and isn't at all shy about climbing into an open lap. She treats everyone as if they are an old friend who she hasn't seen in years, and will happily follow you around from room to room! She prefers to be in the same room even if you are watching TV or reading, and will curl up into a ball next to you.

Even though she's an older kitty, Penny Loafer still has lots of energy and curiosity. She's not big on traditional cat toys, but occasionally will chase around pieces of string like it's her job! She also likes to walk around, explore, and check out what everyone's up to. She adjusted quickly to her foster home and would likely adjust quickly to her forever home too, especially if it's full of warm and loving people!

Though Penny Loafer loves every single human she meets, she didn't love being around the other cats at the shelter (which she expressed through dramatic vocal exercises). She might become friends with a cat roommate with a slow, calm introduction, but we think she'd be very happy to be an only fur-child.

Since she loves all people, Penny Loafer would be happy in just about any home where she can get lots of love and attention. She's the ideal lap warmer and companion for anyone looking for a fuzzy friend! She would thrive in a calm, loving home with people who are home often to give her lots of love and lots of lap time!

Penny Loafer is a lovely senior lady with a name to match both her beautiful copper coloring and her sweet personality - she's one lovable classic shoe! Contact us today to arrange a meet and greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
