Goofy, cuddly, food connoisseur

Fat Wreck Chords is always dolled up in his precious tuxedo like the handsome gentlecat he is. He is always ready to take you out ... to your own kitchen ... for his food. This formal-looking kitty does let his inner baby peek through. As soon as you're within a 5 ft radius of his food, he's unashamed to yell at you until he's fed. You're not safe from his hollers outside of said radius either; he will meow his vocal chords away whenever he wants your attention for food-related purposes. Aside from food demands, Fat Wreck Chords will belt out (particularly loud) meeps as his way of greeting his favorite human.

Like some of us, Fat Wreck Chords craves attention. He'll walk over to you and plop right down by your side for a merry snooze whenever he catches you idle. If you work from home, he would be sure to sit by your side all day as emotional support.

This kitty doesn't play with any toys. He prefers his entertainment in the form of sneaking a glance at the birds outside or staring off into space. Despite his elegant look, Fat Wreck Chords is a simple kitty. All he wants is to sit at your feet for pets.

Fat Wreck Chords is like an animated doll. You can pick him up and cuddle him, for which he'll display his pleasure but purring in your arms. Even when you're performing the most despicable acts of feline medieval-style torture (AKA clipping his nails), he's just happy to be in your embrace.

Fat Wreck Chords has always been a people-lover. He was found in a backyard after being attacked by another cat. Even in the most fearfully uncertain situation, Fat Wreck Chords' first instinct was to find humans for safety--and safety he received!

Though Fat Wreck Chords may seem like he has a grand total of zero thoughts behind his Zen-like gaze, he's a complex guy. Just when you think he's plopped down at the windowsill, he'll appear right behind you, eyes locked and ready to snatch your sandwich. Some may say he's reminiscent of Yogi the Bear.

Fat Wreck Chords would become the happiest kitty if his home is filled with humans to pet him on demand. He's had negative experiences with dogs, so he would like to keep his distance from canines. Fat Wreck Chords knows he'd thrive in an easygoing yet indefinitely loving environment!

Fat Wreck Chords has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Fat Wreck Chords can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
