Sociable, snuggly, loving

Joy Division will be hitting you up for snuggles when he settles into your place! He's a calm, happy boy who loves to be near you. This is a cat who will sleep with you every night. He will curl up with you on the couch. If the closest he can get is leaning on you, this boy will lean! He's also an insta-purr boy who will start purring right when he sees you.

He gets a case of the zoomies pretty much every day, and runs all around the house! He also enjoys a rousing play session for about 30 minutes every day. It's fun to interact with him, letting him chase a wand toy or laser dot! Once he gets his energy out he's completely chill.

Joy Division would be a great companion for a person or family who is home for much of the time, and looking for a cuddly kitty. He did well with his roommates during his time at the shelter, and would likely become fast friends with your FeLVie. Or, he can be your one and only! More attention for him!

Joy Division has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
