"She's TEENY!!! and GORGEOUS!!!" - first reaction from her caretaker

Madame Leota is a solid grey color with a long-haired coat. Her coat is soft and well kept, shining in the sun. She is absolutely stunning! Her gorgeous bright green eyes silently beg for pets and affection. Once you feel her coat, you won't want to let her go! Not that she would let you - Madame Leota's signature move is to give you her "straight arm" as you pull away and give you a gentle tap of her paw, just so you know she isn't done getting pets!

Madame Leota spends some of her day away from you, cat napping. The rest of the day, she will be right beside you to make sure you have a great day. She will talk to you in chirps or meows. She also seems to play Marco Polo when she's looking for you! She will chirp when she is in another room wondering where you are. You can answer her or follow the chirps to her!

When you bring out the ribbons/wands and the laser pointer, you will have her full attention. She LOVES her scratching post. Madame has been in her foster home with other adult resident cats. She finds comfort as well as confidence in other cats.

Madame Leota would do well in a quiet, low-traffic home with another cat, and people to give her the attention and affection she adores!

Madame Leota has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Madame Leota can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
