Meet No T No Shade! This kitty is a free-spirited hairball of happiness. One glance at his bright, avocado-colored eyes signals a giveaway that he's aglow with energy!

No T No Shade genuinely means to neither brew tea nor throw shade, but his bottomless excitement may become overwhelming to other (mostly male) cats - it can in the stressful shelter environment, but could be different in a quiet home. (He, as a true feminist, seems to make a special exception for girl cats by giving their nose a friendly boop.) However, his toys never fail to amuse him; he's prepared to pounce a ball and roll it around at any time of the day without bothering the peace of his shelter roommates.

When he's in the right mood, No T No Shade will accept any and all of your offerings (in the form of pets, of course). He will check in on your daily whereabouts and occasionally offer you a paw, then he will strut away to spend quality time with his treasured troupe of cat toys.

No T No Shade is excellent at declaring his personal boundaries, and might get bitey about it, so he is best with adults and young adults who will understand and respect his boundaries. Despite his best efforts, he sometimes inadvertently instigates some tea and some shade, so he should ideally be the only child in his furever home (though he seems like he could get along with a female kitty). He would love to have access to toys that will keep him entertained all day, as well as an understanding family who will let him do his own thing. If your house feels deprived of a feline diva overlord, No T No Shade would love to have the honor of testing out every single one of your cat toys!

No T No Shade has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. No T No Shade can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
