Handsome, Snuggly, Socialite

This is Fine has a loud purr that you will hear a lot because he is always ready to play or have snuggles! He is a total charmer. And This is Fine is more than fine, this sweet boy rarely stops purring. He will happily sit in your lap and get cheek scratches and purr his happy little heart out!

And he's not above begging for attention either, with cute little chirps! He will scoot over to you - he gets around differently than other cats, but this is fine! - and push himself into your lap. He is content with getting pets or just gazing at you. He is the sweetest, most affectionate cat on this side of the Mississippi!

This is Fine is a playful and energetic cat! He loves laser toys and string toys and has special chirps he makes when he is playing. He can't necessarily sneak up on his toys and lasers due to his back legs, but those front legs pull him along at a good speed! Zoom!

This is Fine came to APA! with back leg paralysis; we suspect it is a result of some kind of spinal injury. He scoots around the world on his front legs very well! The paralysis also resulted in incontinence. He poops as he scoots around; he can't pee on his own, so for urination he needs manual expressions during the day. That means gently squeezing his bladder; this is very straightforward and quite easy, and APA! will show you how! This is Fine requires some extra care, which may include baths to keep him tidy, manual expression, a regulated diet, and/or meds. For more information, please contact APA!

This is Fine was in a room at APA! with other cats and did wonderful! He has not been introduced to the resident cats at his foster yet but has interacted with them positively through the baby gate.

He is happiest when treated with lots of love and pets and treated like the baby he is. This boy has the prettiest buff tabby coat and the cutest FLOOFY grinch toes! This is Fine would do best in a home with people to love and play with, and who will keep him on a schedule. He is totally sweet and happy and doesn't know he's different in any way. This is all fine with This is Fine!

Incontinent cats can be overlooked because potential adopters assume the worst - but This is Fine requires little special care and is a typical cat - fun, loving, super purry, and a great companion! Contact us today for an introduction!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
