Affectionate, Playful, Cheerful

Ultimate Scooter is cuddly and purry! She loves when you pet her. She just might be the happiest and sweetest kitten you'll ever meet! She's friendly with the other cats and the dog in her foster home, too. She is super playful and would adore having another playful cat buddy in her new home!

Scooter came to APA! with some paralysis in her back legs and cannot properly walk. She is cheerful and independent, however, and gets around great! She scoots a little, and sometimes will even push herself up to a standing position. Her paralysis may be somewhat temporary, or it may be permanent. Either way, she has figured out how to get around and there is no stopping her!

Scooter is incontinent due to her paralysis. Fortunately, her humans are able to help her with this by "expressing" her bladder (gently press on it to help her go pee) a couple of times a day. Scooter's foster is able to express her before work onto a potty training pad which she describes as taking a whopping 10 seconds!

Scooter has no problem pooping on her own. She does remarkably well overall considering her challenges. And, as you can tell, her different way of getting around doesn't affect her spirit or lovey-ness at all; she remains a fun, lovely and loving, great companion! Contact APA! for more information on how to care for Scooter.

Scooter enjoys a little pampering, as any princess should! While she is perfectly capable of joining her foster on the couch or bed, she likes to meow instead so she can be picked up and carried there.

Scooter loves going on outings with her foster tucked safely into a little backpack. When she is a big girl, she would love an upgrade to an official cat backpack. She comes along on dog walks and likes all of the new smells and views she experiences. She is a true adventurer!

Scooter loves her people, other cats, playing, meal times, and life in general, and is looking for a home with lots of love from her human, in particular! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
