If you're looking for a new office manager, Orithyia is the girl for the job! This calm kitty quietly keeps you company while you're working, but won't bother you. When it's time for a break she is ready to play! She loves sitting on desk chairs, the perfect place to oversee your work. And, she will keep you on your toes by grabbing at your pencil...which begs the question: Writing implement or toy? Who are we to say? But, Orithyia sure thinks they are fun to play with!

Orithyia is very lovable and curious. She is cautious around new people, but if you are patient and give her a chance she will absolutely steal your heart. She likes being in the same room as her human and will gently rub against you when she wants some pets. She loves butt scratches and she definitely has snuggle potential...she's still learning the ropes of cuddling and is making nice progress.

Orithyia mainly plays by herself at night. She loves playing with wands or a ball attachment to a cat tree and is still mastering how to play with other toys. She does not like wands with bells, but will play with the stick end. When she hears you come home she will greet you with a welcome home meow. She will also strike up a conversation if she wants you to join her or during feeding time.

Orithyia has not spent time with cats in her foster home. When she lived at the shelter she mostly kept to herself when she was around other cats. She has the sweetest face and looks like she used a Sharpie to make little black whisker dots above her mouth and to create the perfect eyeliner...so cute!

The ideal home for Orithyia would be on the quiet, low-energy side with people who will allow her to adjust at her own pace. Once she comes out of her shell, you will be her favorite human and will be so glad you gave her a chance. So, is she hired? We hope so because Orithyia is eager to report for duty!
