We call Franklin "Frankie Boy" when he turns on the charm - which is pretty much all of the time! Head bumps and nuzzles are his specialty, and he loves hugs, too: hugs, kisses, and yummy scratches under his neck and chin, especially on his lovely, puffy cheeks. He is such a gentle and affectionate boy, waiting patiently near you until you are available for some lovies.

Franklin is one of 11 kitties that were rescued after the owner moved and left them behind; sadly, this wasn't the first time Franklin was left by his people to fend for himself! But he is an old soul with a gentle spirit and quiet strength. What did Franklin do? He lived outside his old home and became the father figure to the other abandoned cats! Franklin is amazingly nurturing and can often be found curled up with another cat or kitten. He also made sure his feline family was safe from other outdoor cats.

But that was then and this is now, and Franklin believes in letting go and moving on with life. In his foster home, he now has clean, comfy, and safe places to sleep, and regular food to eat! You might not be surprised that he makes sure the other kitties eat first at mealtimes, and that he lets them take the best sleeping spots. He is happy to perch on top of something tall where he can keep watch over them!

So to say that Franklin is great with other cats is probably an understatement! Also, he has been around older kids in his foster home and has done very well with them. Spoiler alert: Franklin is their favorite!

Franklin has a gorgeous tan tabby overcoat - very unusual! - with a white undercoat. And this guy glows with an inner beauty that could have you grabbing for your sunglasses. He has the heart of an angel and the soul of a saint. He has waited soooooo long for people to truly be his forever people, so if you are jumping out of your chair at the chance to meet him and see how amazing he truly is, contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
