Friendly, Loving, Charming

Mr. Goofypaws is a beautiful orange and white tabby who is so easy to love. This friendly boy enjoys getting pets and giving affection, and he is more than willing to share his happy purr at every opportunity. He is a sweetheart in every sense of the word!

Mr. G has a huge following on social media, he is a kitty who is definitely up with the times! His story was shared on Facebook when he was first rescued and has been viewed over 30,000 times. Unfortunately, he has experienced the worst side of humans. But, we're making sure he gets only the best for the rest of his life. He was initially found hiding under a house, clearly in distress. At first it was thought that he was experiencing a neurological episode. He was taken to a vet who made the gruesome discovery that this gentle soul had been shot in the head. The bullet ruptured his ear drum and was lodged in his throat causing disorientation and extreme vertigo. A vet performed emergency surgery and everyone waited, watched and hoped, not knowing whether Mr. G would make it or what his quality of life would be like if he did. Then something wonderful happened, Mr. G began to improve. He started to gingerly walk and eagerly approached his caregivers for pets, clearly longing for human interaction. Mr. G was learning how to "cat" again and doing so with grace, sweetness and an infinite supply of heart-melting purrs!

Mr. G is now thriving in his foster home. He is a cuddly, cheerful kitty and is very playful too! He enjoys playing with humans, but if they're busy he will good-naturedly entertain himself with toys. His foster bought him a huge array of playthings to make sure he wasn't bored while she worked. No problem there, he's the best boy!

Mr. G has recently discovered he enjoys sitting in laps. He has endeared himself to the low-energy, small dog in his foster home, they are definite buddies, and sometimes falls asleep snuggled up against her...absolutely adorable!

Mr. G uses soft stairs to easily access the couch so he can join his foster family for cuddles. His walk is still a bit wobbly, but he continues to steadily improve. He is a high achiever who amazes and delights us with his gentleness, love and determination each day.

Mr. G deserves to spend the rest of his life adored, pampered and showered with kindness by his forever family. He is a fantastic cat - social, affectionate, playful and always ready to share his heart. If you would like to make this precious kitty a cherished member of your family, contact us for an introduction!
