Beware that Ed the Owl Man may never let you stop petting him once you've started! He absolutely lives for snuggles, and purrs in great appreciation when his humans take the time to come love on him.

After a little get-to-know-you period, Ed the Owl Man turns into the snuggliest cat! He is a little bashful, but once he has deemed someone a trusted person, he will let his social and cuddly side fly!

A simple way to fast track into Ed's heart is with food. (Same, Ed, same.) He eagerly talks at you as you prepare his food, and seemingly says thank you as you put it down in front of him!

Interacting with his fostermate, Detective Comics #66 (APA! ID 128688), is also a favorite pastime of Ed's. These two bring out the best in each other and would be a wonderful pair adopted together (see photos!); consider taking them home together. Ed would likely do best in a home with a feline buddy who is outgoing and can be a role model for him!

Ed the Owl Man has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

Reach out to APA! today to adopt this sweet and cuddly cat into your family, and bring Ed the Owl Man home!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
