Curious, Chatty, Sweet
Meet Infamous SuspenStories!
Don't be deceived by his ominous name - this handsome tabby is a friendly and happy boy! While not a lap cat, he is loving and will come up for pets. Infamous SuspenStories is quite the purr monster with a loud motor! He purrs VERY loudly when he's happy and closes his eyes - it's the cutest thing! He will curl up on the bed next to you to sleep, and generally prefers to be near enough to keep an eye on you but will occasionally nap in another room or under the bed in a dark hidey space. Other favorite activities include exploring things, looking out the window, and sunbathing. He also comes when called!
He loves to stalk toys on a string, waiting patiently, creeping along, and then leap up high and grab it! Rather than being attracted by fast movements when playing, he likes his toys slow and prefers to observe a little before pouncing. When the zoomies hit, though, he gives a cute little trill and takes off! His foster thinks he might prefer a higher level of activity with a feline buddy!
Infamous SuspenStories is an adorable chatterbox and talks all the time! While especially vocal at meal times, generally if you talk to him, he will respond back with a cute little chirp, trill, or meow. It is SO cute. When meeting new people, it may take him a while to get chatty. He vocalizes when he trusts that he's safe.
While it's unknown how he'd do with children or dogs, his foster thinks if there was a child who respected animals and their space, he would love it. Infamous SuspenStories likes to follow his foster around so he might be an adventure buddy for a child. In general, he seems pretty patient and tolerant. He had previously been in the cattery but hasn't met cats while in foster care.
Because of his young age, Infamous SuspenStories' ideal home would be one where he can get a little more attention and activity. He may do well with another cat to play with, or a family with a kid that knows animal boundaries. His favorite toys require human interaction, but he recently started batting springs around on his own. Since he doesn't give up easily, he might enjoy puzzles!
Infamous SuspenStories has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, "FeLVies are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Infamous SuspenStories can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.
