Sweet, snuggly, chill

Remus Lupin is a thriver and can't be held back! He's a small, slender framed boy cat that has "Classic Tabby" swirl markings on his body. He is shy at first meet but warms up to gentle new humans quickly. And once you're friends, he is the cutest cuddle buddy!

Remus came to APA! after being hit by a car which fractured his pelvis. It's since healed very well! He has no remaining symptoms and is pain free. Understandably, he was extremely scared when he arrived at the shelter and was very grumpy. But he's doing so much better in foster! Once he felt safe and started to heal, he blossomed into a friendly little goofball.

Remus is a chill guy with a playful heart. He likes to hang out near his humans or in the closest warm spot. He's also a lap cat, or sometimes a shoulder cat if your couch has a tall back! When he's in a cuddly mood he will reach up to rub his face on your face - so cute! He also does just fine alone during the day. He's a quiet boy almost always but will make soft noises when you come home if you were away for a while.

Like any 1 year old cat, he also gets playful! He likes to play soccer with little balls and bunny-kick larger toys. His timid nature carries over to new toys, but he eventually catches on. He's very good about being gentle and not treating his humans' hands as toys, which they appreciate.

Remus would do best in calm household. He is curious about his foster's resident cats through their pet gate and has started the slow introduction process. Based on his demeanor, we suspect he would do just fine with another friendly cat. Since Remus takes a little time warming up to new people, adults only or gentle, friendly children would work best for him.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
