Playful, Snuggly, Laid-back

You won't find any antlers on this Elk - just lots of orange floof! Elk is a chill guy who loves exploring and playing. He likes most toys, but he definitely plays favorites with ping pong balls and anything that crinkles!

Elk also loves people and will snuggle up with his fosters every night. He can't resist some good petting, but he especially loves head pets, which turn him into a purring machine! Elk keeps the chit-chat to a minimum, only really meowing when he's looking for some cuddles. He gets so excited about giving and receiving love! Elk doesn't mind being picked up either, but he prefers to keep all four of his feet on the ground.

You can often find Elk hanging out by the window looking outside and enjoying a good sunbath. You might also catch him checking himself out in the mirror. He already knows he's adorable, but he just likes to inspect himself! Elk does have a little extra chub on his tummy, but that just means there's more of him to cuddle!

Elk came to foster with his brother, Caribou (130169), who he gets along great with! The two of them love to cuddle and spend lots of time together, so Elk would have no issue living with other kitties at his forever home. Right now, Elk has some tissue adhesion on one of his eyes, but this is planned to be removed soon. He sees perfectly fine out of the other eye and is very much aware of his surroundings!

Given his easygoing nature and love for people, Elk would be happiest in a home where there are people he can hang out with most of the day and some nice spots by the window for sunbathing. He'd also appreciate some fun, crinkly toys! If you're looking for a sweet and cuddly guy, ask about meeting Elk!

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
