Goofy, super cuddly, funny little character!

Cookie Monster is a happy-go-lucky lover boy! Sometimes he just sits, looks at you, and purrs happily. He adores kisses on his head and face, and will climb into your lap to be as close to you as possible and to ask for snuggle time, where he will lay on his back, inviting you to tickle his tummy (which will turn into a play session, once he's had his fill of snuggles, so have a toy at the ready!). He also has started making biscuits!

And he knows how to put the "monster" in Cookie Monster when he plays! The first time he meets a wand toy or dangly toy that he can catch, he will grab it, hold it in his mouth, and give a little grrrrrr. (See the adorable video of his tiny fierceness!). He also plays with spring toys, string toys, tube toys that roll around, and the track ball toy, and is a consummate stalker-and-pouncer! He uses the scratching post to get his scratch on, and is learning to climb it.

He chases and pounces on his sister, Cabbages (133674), and they wrestle like they're in a competition! Then he will lay on his back while she pounces on him. Cookie is in a higher weight class so when Cabbages thinks he's playing roughly, she'll stand up for herself and meow to tell him off; similarly, after mealtime, Cabbages grooms him until he pushes her away to say, "That's enough, little sister!" They are teaching each other well. Learn about Cabbages, an adorable smoky gray-and-white tuxedo kitten with the most perfect toes in the history of ever - https://tinyurl.com/yck3nk3c

And see more about both of them on Instagram, from the time they arrived at APA! and how they have blossomed! @because.kittens

Cookie is fine when meeting new people, and was snuggly and playful with the gentle 8-year-old child he met, letting her pick him up and hold him in her lap while he purred and purred and purred. And when the resident grumpy adult cat in his foster home sees him on the other side of the baby gate and hisses, Cookie sticks his tiny tail straight up, puffs it out, and walks slowly away. Then he immediately forgets about it and proceeds to play and scamper about! He might like to have a nice feline buddy in his new home to rumpus with.

Cookie is both chill and confident! Some things he couldn't be bothered with; other times, he can be bossy with his sister, taking a toy from her, crowding her at the food dish, or playing too rowdily for her taste. With his super cuddly, goofy, fun-loving, and sometimes rather calm personality, he should adapt to any loving home. He has grown up in a quiet and routine foster home, but should easily get used to a new environment - just give him cuddles, play time, and love as he settles into all the new people and noises!

Cookie is a little fluff with a chunky squishmallow-esque belly that he is growing into; it's like he ate ALL the cookies! He looks to have a medium-fluffy coat, which explains why he seems to have perpetual bedhead! His black and white coat pattern is called "cap and saddle" because from the back it looks like he has a saddle and is wearing a little cap. He has woolly, floofy ears that he will flatten when he is in stealth mode, sneaking up on a toy or his sister.

Cookie is over-the-top super fun, cuddly, soft, and adorable - contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!
