Fly Trap is a confident, adventurous little guy who waltzed into his foster home like he owned the place. He's at the peak of kitten energy so he's all about playing. Not content to merely bat a jingle ball around; he will carry a bunch of them to the bathtub and drop them in, and then hop in for a rousing game of bathtub soccer! He really loves interactive play with his humans.

He's a sweet boy with a very loud purr. At this age, he's often too busy for leisurely lap-sitting. But once he has tired himself out, he's happy to sit next to you and get some pets.

He only recently went to foster, so he hasn't yet met his foster's own cat. But he can smell her from under the door and doesn't seem bothered by her presence. Fly Trap would do well in a forever home with another kitten buddy about his age to help him work off his energy and learn to play gently.

Fly Trap has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. He can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
